A crucial aspect of the role is to act as agent to promote sustainable land management to protect the quality of raw water resources derived from our upland catchments.   The successful applicant will exercise a high degree of discretion in developing and implementing strategies to optimise the economic, environmental and social benefits generated from our landholdings. You will be involved in most facets of rural land management including agri-environment schemes, supporting biodiversity aims, improving wildlife habitats and facilitating water catchment regeneration schemes and other capital investment and maintenance work across the estate.

We require a qualified Chartered Surveyor, with a relevant degree and proven post qualification experience in Rural Land management, especially upland farming and sporting interests.   You will possess knowledge and experience of estate planning and management, have excellent IT and negotiation skills.  You will be part of a small land management team, supervising an Assistant Land Agent.  You should possess a full driving licence
