CONTRACTS - CLAIMS MANAGERS / SPECIALISTS REQUIRED
This leading international EPC Contractor with a global turnover of USD$6 Billion in 2007 has a substantial presence in the oil, gas, petrochemical, power, ports, infrastructure and building construction sectors in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Established in South Korea in 1947, the company has expanded rapidly in its field with 18 overseas offices and is renowned for its Engineering and Construction expertise and experience which has contributed to the total current construction orders of USD$34.5 Billion.
Construction experience also comes with responsibility to our staff of over 4,800, Clients and others, as the Company complies with Quality QMS ISO 9001:2000 and with Safety a priority, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
Current projects include major multibillion power and desalination plants in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, Refinery and marine work in Kuwait, Petrochemical plant projects in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Reclamation and marine work in Singapore, the UAE
and Kuwait.
Hyundai Engineering & Construction is committed to an expanding international presence and is interested in experienced QS/Contracts – Claims Managers who can support the company on its international operations. Ideally qualified with a construction related degree, ARICS or equivalent, 15-20 years contract-claims responsibility experience on major international projects working for EPC / Construction contractors. Middle East experience would be helpful.
The company is particularly interested to hear from Contract/Claims Specialists with experience of major power and desalination projects, oil, gas and petrochemical plant projects and marine / jetty/ breakwater /dredging projects. We would also like to be contacted by Contracts/Claims specialists who have experience of working with contractors on Independent Power Projects (IPP). Current posting locations are in Kuwait, Qatar, Dubai and Singapore with further projects coming up in other countries.
Hyundai Engineering & Construction is offering one year renewable contracts, with negotiable locally tax free salaries according to experience. On our overseas projects we work a six day week and expect total commitment to our company and Client for which
you will be suitably rewarded. Accommodation, transport and subsistence is provided by the Company and holiday leave cycles are in line with international practice.
