A huge 76,800 miles. That’s the distance travelled by just one Tube train in just one year. So, imagine the scale of our work when we tell you that we’re also responsible for ensuring the smooth running and safety of London’s buses, trains and taxis – amongst others. And imagine the exposure that our quantity surveying scheme gives to our talented graduates.
Our network needs to meet the demands of the thousands of people who use it every day. Tube lines are being upgraded in the biggest transformation in its history. Bridges have to be sound enough to cope with busy roads. New stations are being built to prepare for the 2012 Games. We could go on. But it gives you an idea of just how much you’ll have the chance to be involved with on the variety of structured placements throughout our graduate scheme.
