RICS contacted a number of property services, construction and quantity surveying firms, as well as public sector organisations, to ask them about their graduate recruitment plans for 2012.

A total of 45 firms provided feedback on a series of related topics, including preferred recruitment methods, main reasons for hiring and salary and incentives offered to graduates.

Respondents were also asked to provide their perceptions of the value and relevance of the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
