Salary: £39,002 - £41,846 per annum

Contract type: Permanent, full time position working 37 hours per week

Location: Chichester

The opportunity: 

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute towards meeting our strategic objectives for Infrastructure and the Local Transport Plan as well supporting economic development and accessibility to services for the residents of West Sussex.

You will provide project management for development as well delivery of major projects within highways and transport. You will deliver a customer focused project management service, including provision of professional and technical expertise as well as guidance on project related issues in line with Project Management Frameworks. You will manage the feasibility, development, consultation, procurement and implementation of major capital projects valued typically in excess of £5m over several years and in order to achieve this, you will work very closely with other organisations and in partnership arrangements to ensure efficient service provision.

Researching and analysing data, you will have the ability to interpret varied and complex statistical information in order to deliver project objectives on time and to the specified cost, quality and performance characteristics. You will also lead and motivate a small projects team to ensure objectives as well as a professional service is delivered.

Relocation packages of up to £10,000 are available, subject to meeting certain criteria.
