The Advisory and Programme Delivery (APD) Unit brings together the UK management services operating in the Buildings, Energy, Environment and Water, Transportation, Defence, Education, Health and Care sectors. The Unit delivers services to projects ranging in scale and complexity from £1m to £20bn, through the technical disciplines of programme management, project management, project controls, scheduling, cost management, estimating, infrastructure finance, management consulting and digital consulting.

Senior Consultant - Business Improvement and Change
Our Business Improvement and Change team works with clients across all sectors delivering a range of services including:
* Business improvement/lean
* Business transformation
* Programme management
* Business case advisory.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Consultant to join our fast-growing team in the Midlands, Cardiff and the West. From day one you will be working alongside experienced professionals and have a significant role in project delivery through our vast range of technical and commercial expertise.
The role will include:
* Leading and driving business improvement and business change programmesÂ
* Contributing to business development, securing commissions, and generating forward orders
* Growing revenue and profit in line with agreed targets
* Building internal and external networks to identify new opportunities
* Supporting Customer Account Managers and Practice Leaders
* Developing expertise and a successful track record across our range of services
Candidate Specification:
We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:
* strong track record in business transformation and/or improvement services within consulting
* over 5-10 years industry experience within the infrastructure, utilities, construction, energy or transportation sectors
* demonstrable commercial acumen and experience of securing work
* teamwork experience, through line management and/or project teams
* experience in leading projects and managing junior consultants
* high level of IT literacy and numeracy skills
* strong communication and networking skills
* ability to show initiative and adaptability
* flexibility for travel within the UK and internationally, when required, dependent on business needs and assignments
