A team of experienced Building Surveyors in the heart of London are looking to recruit a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS). Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 1 years’ experience undertaking commercial projects post-qualification. 
• A full, clean UK Driving License.
• An ability to thrive in a team environment and autonomously.
• Good communication skills and an ability to develop and maintain business and client relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation of time and workload.
• Good computer skills including Word, Excel and MS Project.

Ideal candidates will have experience with: conducting building surveys for investment/occupation, dilapidations, contract administration, refurbishment, project management, providing maintenance advice and development monitoring; however, training will be provided where necessary.

Duties of a Chartered Building Surveyor include, but not restricted to:

• Undertaking a range of property surveys within the commercial property market for investment and occupational purposes.
• Overseeing projects from conception to completion, including conducting feasibility studies, project management and contract administration.
• Providing Party Wall services to adjoining owners.
• Imparting advice and support to clients on specific building defects and maintenance strategies.
• Preparing schedules of Dilapidations and negotiating on behalf of Landlords/Tenants.
• Creating CAD plans/elevations/sections and details.
