Project Manager

THE ROLE

My client seeks a Project Manager to join them in the City of London to work on a good range of construction based projects across London and the South East.

You will carry out the full range of pre contract and post contract services from feasibility through project delivery.

They are working on a mix of projects generally of high value including student accommodation, residential, mixed use, hotels and offices.

You will deal directly with clients and be able to run your own projects without supervision.

THE CLIENT

My client is a successful firm of construction consultants mainly focusing on project management and cost management.

Their project management team is growing and they offer good prospects for the right candidates.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have a BSc or BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Project Management, Engineering or another construction / built environment subject.

Ideally you will be MRICS / MAPM or similarly qualified.

You also need to have at least five years' minimum experience working as a Project Manager post graduation in the construction industry and have a record of delivering successful projects.

You should have worked for either a firm of construction consultants or with a developer.

Experience of running projects from inception through all RIBA stages through to handover is required.

Ideally you will have worked on a range of projects across various sectors but high value residential, student accommodation and mixed use would be the most useful experience.

My client seeks candidates who have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken), who are enthusiastic and dynamic to deal with challenging projects and demanding clients and able to work without supervision.

Salary will be very negotiable - possibly from £55000 to £85000 plus pension, excellent bonus etc. according to your level of experience as my client will consider candidates at various levels.
