Young and ambitious Project Manager required for Surrey based Building Contractor.
Location –Surbiton and various site locations around the South East
Company Details – Build4me are a small/ medium sized building contractor working throughout Surrey and London. We undertake a mixture of residential, commercial and public sector works including new builds, extensions, conversions and refurbishments. Our projects range from £100,000 to £2,000,000 and we are looking to expand the business over the next few years.
Job Description - The role will consist of working closely with one of the many company directors undertaking the following tasks:
- Onsite management of construction projects
- Programming jobs and labour requirements
- Writing quotes for a variety of construction projects
- Carrying out valuations
- Putting together and submitting final accounts
The role is flexible and will also allow the applicant the opportunity to get involved in different project management duties from putting together programmes to onsite management of the construction process.
Opportunities - You will be working alongside the company directors who will provide hands on experience of project management and quantity surveying. The company have RICS accredited members of staff who will support any candidate looking to undertake the Assessment of Professional Competence.
Also as the company is fairly small there will be good opportunities for the candidate to gain practical experience in a wide range projects and for the candidate to work up to a senior role in a steadily expanding company.
Skills required - The ideal candidate will be ambitious, motivated and keen to learn. Must have a full driving license.
Salary and benefits – To be confirmed based on the applicants employment history and skills
Contract Basis - A full time permanent contract will be offered on successful completion of a 3 month trial period.
Holiday Allowance – 25 days per annum
