Project Management Office Surveyor / Trainee

Based in Southampton Graduate level - competitive rates of pay

Your role will involve co-ordinating the collation of pre survey information packs on behalf of a team of surveyors to a range of educational buildings such as high schools, primary schools, nursery schools and pupil refferal units across the South West of England.  You will also be responsible for the pre population of each PDS survey to include the interrogation of ariel photos of each school

 

You will also assist the Managing Surveyor in the preparation of key performance indicators and provide technical support for field assessors where necessary

 

  •   To manage own workload and follow the survey programme of delivery
  •   Share information and ideas/findings with other survey teams carrying out similar exercises
  •   To assist the Managing Surveyor in the preparation of pre survey packs
  • To pre populate the PDS survey to include the interrogation of ariel photos of each school
  •  To assist the Managing Surveyor in the preparation of key performance indicators and provision of technical support for field assessors where necessary

You will be expected to:

  • be fully IT literate to include CAD
  •  be able to work under your own initiative effectively and efficiently
  • have Experience of working with clients in the public sector
  • have the ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure
  • have the ability to communicate in a professional, friendly and courteous manner

 

Ideally you will be:

  • Degree, C&G, NVQ, HNC/ONC qualifications in a Building related discipline
  • An understanding of schools and how they operate
  • Experience working within an ISO 9001 certified environment
