Senior Land Agent, Scotland
Salary commensurate to experience
Location: Edinburgh
We require an enthusiastic highly motivated individual based in Edinburgh to manage a team of 4 land agents to deliver the estate management programme on our 79 reserves extending to 70,000ha in Scotland, ranging from 1 ha management agreements to 20,000ha estates.
You will be rural/commercial 5-10 years MRICS qualified with experience of managing and providing professional support to a team of land agents. You will have experience of estate management, acquisitions, risk management, commercial lease negotiations, and renewable technologies.
You will be experienced in managing people, have an interest in conservation, be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be able to influence wider audiences, and be confident working as part of a multi-disciplinary team or alone.
This is a new post and you will be a member of the Land and Property Services Section (comprising 9 people: 7 land agents, 1 H&S Officer, 1 Property Manager), a division of the Species and Land Management Dept. You will also be part of an expanding team of 17 land agents working for the RSPB across the UK.
