Land Agent, Scotland
We require an enthusiastic highly motivated individual based in Edinburgh/Inverness to work part time alongside another part time land agent to deliver the estate management and acquisition programmes on our 23 reserves in the North Region. The reserve holdings extend to 41,000ha, and range from small management agreements to 20,000ha in-hand estates.
You will be rural 2-5 years MRICS qualified with experience of estate management, acquisitions, and risk management.
You will be have excellent interpersonal skills, have an interest in conservation, be able to influence wider audiences, and be confident working as part of a multi-disciplinary team or alone.
This is a replacement post and you will be a member of the Land and Property Services Section (comprising 9 people: 7 land agents, 1 H&S Officer, 1 Property Manager), a division of the Species and Land Management Dept. You will also be part of an expanding team of 17 land agents working for the RSPB across the UK.
