The Property team is responsible for generating sustainable income from the estate for re-investment in our rail infrastructure. The team's diverse portfolio encompasses all 'non-operational' property and its mission is to drive the best possible value from the estate by focusing on ways of creating sustainable income for re-investment in our rail infrastructure.
This role is responsible for providing portfolio management and professional advice on operational property matters and negotiate lettings, acquisitions and sales of land.

This is a customer facing role and you will deal with all aspects of valuation and negotiation of rights throughout the county, as well as site visits and meetings with local and multi-national companies.  The role includes responsibility for tenant control, accurate documentation and enforcement of covenants for the protection of operational railway interests.

You’ll need:

• Degree-level education or equivalent
• Training for or recently qualified member of the RICS
• Strong negotiation skills
• The ability to be positive and proactive team player
• Commercial awareness
