£26,186 to £27,918 a year for 37 hours a week plus essential user allowance
We are looking for someone to temporarily cover the maternity leave of one of our Building Control Surveyors. The duties will include examination of plans, site inspection visits, enforcement of the Building Regulations and dealing effectively with dangerous structures.
The ideal candidate will be professionally qualified in Building Control (RICS, ABE), have experience working as a Building Control Surveyor within a building control team. They should preferably hold a degree in Building Control Surveying / Building Surveying or have a minimum HNC in construction with an excellent knowledge of current Building Regulations. They need to be a good team player, be self motivated and be able to work under pressure. The candidate will also help to support our developing trainee Building Control Surveyors.
Additionally they will have good written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate and possess a full, clean driving licence.
