The Environment Agency deals with some of the biggest environmental challenges facing our country; from flooding to major pollution incidents, illegal waste to climate change. If you’re looking to make your mark on the planet, this is your chance.
Working with a diverse and interesting portfolio, you will contribute to the provision of a professional estates service with a focus on the acquisition of properties and arrangement of compensation. At the same time, you will mentor the Estates Officer to attain full RICS qualification.
This is an excellent opportunity to use your knowledge of industry best practice and current and impending legislation to inform and influence our policies and procedures. You’ll also shape a multitude of projects to improve ways of working.
You’ll come to us with a degree in a relevant discipline together with a relevant professional qualification. Your experience as a surveyor in compensation and acquisition or valuation and estates management will be complemented by a sound understanding of planning, property, and compensation legislation.
Fully conversant with compulsory purchase orders, you will bring considerable expertise in property management, valuation, and landlord and tenant issues.
These roles are hub based. Some national travel and occasional overnight stays may be required. A driving licence is essential.
