The Environment Agency deals with some of the biggest environmental challenges facing our country; from flooding to major pollution incidents, illegal waste to climate change. If you’re looking to make your mark on the planet, this is your chance.
We need you to deal with complex land entry and acquisition and compensation arrangements. You will deliver professional advice and guidance to the estates team and operational customers while providing expertise in one or more specialist areas.
Your remit will include compensation and acquisition for operational project support as well as valuation and estates management for functional land or property. A fitting role model for an environmental organisation, you will also enable team members to enhance their qualifications, including RICS membership.
A confident and tactful communicator, you will have the ability to provide specialist advice to senior managers, external partners, tenants, and landlords in line with relevant legislation and best practice. You’ll also have the tenacity to review technical literature.
Ideally a qualified surveyor or with a considerable and documented track record, you will have experience of dispute resolution with landowners and occupiers while overseeing a diverse operational property portfolio.
In return, we offer a competitive package with a range of benefits and the opportunity to make a real difference to the environment. We are fully committed to having an inclusive workforce that reflects the communities we serve and welcome applications from candidates seeking flexible working patterns, including job share.
For an informal conversation about the role please contact Phillip Alliston, Estates Operations Manager, South East on 01903 832060.
