Senior Building Surveyor
A new and exciting opportunity exists for an enterprising building surveyor to join our team. Applicants must be Chartered Building Surveyors with a minimum 6 years post qualification experience in private practice.
The successful applicant will want to remain ‘hands-on’ professionally but will also want to engage in practice development and management functions.
The role includes:
• Pre-contract construction advice to clients
• Design, detailing and specification of building works (CAD skills an
advantage)
• Contract Administration
• Building surveys, defects investigations, dilapidation claims, schedules of
condition and maintenance reports
Experience in the following sectors will be advantageous:
• Commercial property – landlord and tenant facing
• Rural Estates and buildings
• Period property
This is a client facing role that requires excellent communication and networking skills for which a competitive salary, mileage allowance and bonus will be paid.
