Part of Infrastructure Maintenance within the Wessex Alliance, the Buildings and Civils minor works teams manage the delivery of maintenance and renewal projects to both Operational Property and Civil Assets.

The team’s diverse portfolio encompasses a full range of operational assets that includes managed and  franchised stations, light maintenance depots, Maintenance Delivery Unit depots, lineside buildings, bridges, culverts, retaining walls and drainage.

Add your skills to this dynamic team and you’ll have every opportunity to broaden your expertise and stretch yourself to the full. Everything from assisting with valuation of contractors' applications and processing of payment certification right through to advising Project Managers on change or helping prepare tenders and estimates for works on the Wessex route.

You'll need:

 Basic negotiation skills with ability to influence decision making
 The ability to work to deadlines
 Good problem solving skills
 Experience of writing reports and working with figures
