Network Rail is one of the largest land and property owners in the country. The Property team is responsible for generating sustainable income from the estate for re-investment in our rail infrastructure.The team's diverse portfolio encompasses all 'non-operational' property and its mission is to drive the best possible value from the estate by focusing on ways of creating sustainable income for re-investment in our rail infrastructure.
We are looking for Portfolio Surveyors to manage our Commercial Telecoms and Easements portfolios. The roles require experienced surveyors, either qualified MRICS or working towards APC to handle a demanding workload of rent reviews, new commercial proposals and day-to-day meetings/site visits with both local and multi-national companies. Most important is the need to demonstrate a strong understanding of property management and detailed legal documentation as well as a track-record negotiating skills in a commercial environment.
You’ll need:
• Experience in Commercial Telecoms or Easements
• Degree-level education or equivalent
• Training for or recently qualified member of the RICS
• Strong negotiation skills
• The ability to be positive and proactive team player
• Commercial awareness and strong understanding of property management
