The role
We need a customer-focused person to manage projects which could range from refurbishments and office fit-outs to construction works and property care maintenance. You’ll manage the entire life cycle from planning to handover: negotiating contracts, leading and motivating dedicated teams and controlling budgets. The role will involve working closely with stakeholders, architects and engineers, so your communication and influencing skills will be used to the full.
What you’ll need
Your significant project management experience will be balanced with a proven understanding of how different types of buildings work. Management of finance and external teams, will include proven ability to prioritise spend in a dynamic environment, meet deadlines and expectations and improve business efficiencies. This will be supported by a degree and, ideally, membership of a relevant professional institute. To this you’ll add a sound grasp of risk management, contractual and legal issues and project management tools
