The role:
There has never been a better time for you to join Surrey County Council, as we embark on a £30m maintenance programme and your role will be integral to the work. Gaining experience of our diverse property portfolio, you will assist in the delivery of full feasibility and design services within maintenance and minor works projects.
It’s a chance to develop your place within a brand new team. The role will see you responsible for contract administration on NEC contracts, applying your knowledge of technical developments in property, and providing performance data to other EPM teams.
You will gain valuable experience as you assist in the provision of feasibility studies and design solutions for maintenance and minor works projects. As well as leading some projects, you will take responsibility for contract administration, keep abreast with market developments and develop relationships with stakeholders.
The requirements:
With a minimum qualification standard of HNC/HND in building engineering services or equivalent and working towards chartered status with CIBSE, you will share our commitment to developing levels of customer satisfaction. Fully aware of construction methods and materials, you will have experience of buildings systems and their contribution to cost savings and a sustainable future.
We’re looking for a team player with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. What’s more, you will be keen to work on projects that can make a difference to people’s lives.
An enhanced CRB check will be required.
