CAU was founded in July 2011 as a sister brand to Gaucho, the highly successful chain of restaurants. The first UK restaurant opened in Guildford in 2011 and has exceeded expectations, with a second opening in Cambridge shortly. Having received significant funding, CAU has ambitious growth plans to expand the group in affluent towns throughout the South of the UK. The Group aims to open 5 CAU restaurants over the next year as well as looking at additional selective sites for Gaucho.
Are you a dynamic and determined individual with a proven track record in acquiring sites, ideally A3 retail specific on a regional basis? If so this could be the role for you.
You will be responsible for identifying and acquiring sites both on and off market throughout the South (target towns include Brighton, Oxford, Reading, Bath and Bristol). As the acquisitions director you will approach property owners and occupiers directly, sourcing off market deals as well as working with agents outside of the M25. You will be responsible for overseeing the legal process through to completion.
Reporting directly to CAU’s managing director and, as business expands, your role will grow within the group and opportunities for career progression are significant.
You will be the key driver for their acquisitions strategy in this growth period.
