Drawing on your knowledge and experience, you’ll ensure the structure, fabric and infrastructure of our property portfolio is not only maintained to the highest standards, but enhanced too.
About the role
You’ll be responsible for all aspects of estates management, including assets, capital expenditure, maintenance and regulatory compliance. We’ll look to you to manage refurbishment and other projects on time and to budget. You’ll also help support home managers to recruit and manage maintenance personnel. Not least, you’ll co-ordinate contractors and work effectively with colleagues across departments.
About you
You’ll need to combine your experience of multi-site estate management role with a track record of delivering building projects. We’ll expect you to be educated to degree level, ideally in surveying, construction or engineering. You must also be knowledgeable in standards and practices such as Building Regulations, RRO, DDA, Health & Safety, CDM Asbestos, and Legionella. It’s important that you’re a member of a professional body such as RICS, BIFM or CIOB, and if you have some knowledge of the care services industry, all the better.
