Our client, a large international construction and management contractor delivering large scale EPC Oil&Gas projects on and offshore, now need an experienced Senior Contracts Engineer for their Abu Dhabi office with onward relocation to Oman or the far east.
You must have in depth knowledge and experience in project, construction and design management in mechanical, electrical, structural and process engineering and have skills in negotiating variations to contract, meeting contract deadlines for time, cost and quality. You must have good client liaison experience and good all round experience of contract administration on similar oil and gas related projects. You should ideally have previous experience of working in the Middle East and be experienced in all major types of contracts but particularly with EPCM and EPC Contracts. Be able to manage contracting process from initiation through pre-qualification to Tender and award, have experience of Procurement and placing PO's for long lead items, experience of contract drafting, good experience of contract administration and cost management. Ideally you will be Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar with a minimum ten years previous contracts engineering experience in the onshore & offshore oil & gas industry, preferably in the middle east.
