My client is a firm of construction consultants providing quantity surveying, project management, building surveying, health & safety and employer's agent services to a good range of clients across different sectors including commercial, education, residential, leisure, light industrial, heritage and more. They now have a requirement for an Intermediate / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their office in Dorset. You will need to have gained a Degree in Quantity Surveying with a recognised U.K. university and it is imperative that you have at least one or two years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor post graduation or having done a year out. Experience may have been gained with a firm of PQS or a main contractor but you should be keen to do both pre and post contract work and to work towards becoming MRICS qualified. You will work under a Senior quantity surveyor and will be given training towards becoming chartered. You will also need to have a clean driving licence and be a car owner. Mileage will be paid.
