About the Client:
One of the UK`s leading highways and roads maintenance contractors. Their reputation as being a market leader has helped the company grow considerably over the last 5 years, having seen them secure key schemes throughout the UK.
About the Role:
They require a Quantity Surveyor to take a lead role on a £10-12m programme of works. In order to manage these works, you will be tasked with overseeing one or two junior Quantity Surveyors. The position will suit a Quantity Surveyor keen to take on more responsibility and progress their career.
About the Candidate:
- Must have a strong highways and roads background.
- Ideally degree qualified.
- Structured career history.
- Be commercially astute and be able to deal with the client, overcoming objections and issues when they arise.
