Based in the Midlands, the Governance & Process Manager (Commercial Property) will set the direction of the business through developing policies, processes and procedures for all aspects of commercial property activities and to drive process confirmation, efficiencies and continuous improvement in all that we do.

Key Tasks:

- Leading virtual teams in a matrix management approach
- Portfolio of c.600 sites
- Deliver financial savings through efficiency opportunities of c. £1m per annum
- Responsible for developing and implementing policies that drive commercial property activities in order to manage risk, reputation and cost efficiency and to set the direction of the business
- Responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures to support policies and for monitoring their adherence to ensure consistency of approach
- Accountable for process confirmation to ensure we are doing the right thing
- Responsible for identifying process improvement and continuous improvement opportunities in order to enhance value, risk management and reputation
- Accountable for establishing a governance framework to comply with governance requirements and support our regulated environment
- Champion the application of common policies, processes and procedures across the commercial property team to embed these and ensure buy-in from operational teams

Experience Required:

- Significant experience of an operational business environment including regulation
- Significant experience in the commercial property environment
- Project and performance measurement skills
- Business policy, process and procedure design, implementation and management
- Governance experience in a regulated business environment.

Qualifications Required:

- Degree level or equivalent experience in a property discipline
- Demonstrable experience in policy development
- Demonstrable experience in creating a process driven environment
- Collaborative approach and team player
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Commercial acumen.

A major utilities provider.

up to £300 per day.
