My client is a firm of construction consultants working on a range of building and civils projects valued from around 50m Saudi Riyals to multi billion SR projects. They now seek a Quantity Surveyor who should be Degree qualified and Chartered, ideally MRICS or equivalent to join their team in Riyadh to work on a good range of Infrastructure projects as well as the civil engineering elements of building projects. You will need to be Western educated, ideally having done your Degree and worked through chartership in the United Kingdom, New Zealand or Australia. You must have worked for a Private Practice Quantity Surveyors and have good PRE CONTRACT experience, in particular Cost Plans, analysis of projects, cost estimates and client advice. You should have a BSc ideally in Quantity Surveying and have at least 3 - 5 years post graduate experience with a PQS firm working on civil engineering / infrastructure projects. Our client is happy to take people who do not have previous Middle East experience as long as the background experience is as required. Our client will pay around 35000 Saudi Riyals per month all in, plus health insurance. Slightly negotiable.
