Managing Quantity Surveyor - Petrochemical

My client, a large firm of consultants is working closely with a major Oil & Gas Operator. They now have a need for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join them in Perth, Western Australia to work on a huge LNG project. You will need to have a solid career working as a Quantity Surveyor with experience at Managing Q.S. level, and have a BSc in Quantity Surveyor or Engineering or similar with 15 years or more experience of contract management and quantity surveying within the oil and gas industry. You should have previous work experience on major projects and have strong commercial skills. Experience of post award contract administration experience in petrochemicals, module construction or offshore installations is required along with the ability to carry out all aspects of post contract administration work, including contract administration, budget preparation and cost reporting, plus you will need experience of man-hour and financial cost analysis and reporting systems plus experience of site measurement and man-hour recording of construction work in all disciplines along with knowledge of budget and accounting procedures and the ability to prepare reports and business correspondence to and for management. Experience of leading a team of quantity surveyors is required etc.
