My client is a firm of construction consultants. They now have a requirement for a GERMAN speaking Quantity Surveyor to join them in Munich. You will need to have a Quantity Surveying qualification e.g. BSc, Diploma or Certificate in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, and have gained several years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate will have at least a couple of years experience working for a firm of private practice quantity surveyors to have good experience of both pre and post contract work including cost estimating, cost plans etc. as well as having good client facing and communication skills. You will have the opportunity of becoming MRICS qualified if you are not already chartered and you will work on a good range of mainly commercial projects including head offices, large retail plus some industrial projects. Your German language skills should be either fluent or at the least very good and good English will be required too.
