Principal Surveyor required
The Company
Carterwood Chartered Surveyors launched in October 2008 and despite difficult trading conditions, the company has exceeded all expectations and has rapidly established a brand presence in the long term care sector. Carterwood buys, sells, values and provides consultancy advice to the healthcare sector.
Scope of the role
•Preparing valuations of care homes and development sites, often with a high level of complexity
•Preparing market surveys of existing care homes and establishing the suitability of care home development sites
•Strategic advice in relation to the operational performance of trading care homes for both the private and voluntary sectors
•Predominately elderly and specialist care for younger adults (learning disability, mental health and younger physically disabled)
•National role with a focus towards the South East, South West, Midlands and Wales.
•Supervise and train junior members of the team
•Not essential to assist in immediate fee generation, although this would be a medium to longer term goal
•Predominately Bristol-based.

•RICS qualified essential
•Excellent report writer

•Knowledge of the healthcare sector desirable but not essential

•Takes ownership of projects through to finalisation
