My client is a firm of construction consultants working on a range of projects all over the UK. Their office in Dorset now has a requirement for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join them to work on schools, luxury housing, business centre and other projects. It is essential that you are fully MRICS qualified, with a BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar taken at a known U.K. university. You will need to have experience of both pre contract and post contract work including cost plans etc. with experience gained with a firm of private practice quantity surveyors. The ideal candidate will have two to five years post qualification experience. There will be excellent prospects for promotion for the right candidate. A car driver / owner is preferred as there will be some need for local travel.
