Development Manager (Regeneration)

The primary purpose of this post is the management and implementation of one or more projects falling under the Estate Regeneration Programme for this local authority.

As Development Manager you will liaise with internal and external departments and agencies to ensure appropriate development and implementation of projects, the key objective being to deliver new housing supply and to secure inward investment in existing housing to provide decent homes.

You will be expected to assist with and contribute to the formulation of corporate policy in this area and may be required to oversee one or more policy and/or strategy work-streams.

Main duties and responsibilities will be to be accountable for the Estate Regeneration, manage specific regeneration and development projects. Assist in the development of options for the physical development and regeneration of sites including large-scale new-build housing and mixed use developments.
You will hold a relevant degree in construction or development and have a thorough knowledge of housing development and social housing.
