Rating Surveyor - London W1

Our client, a traditional and well renowned property consultancy seeks a Rating surveyor to work in their Central London HQ. An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified surveyor with at least 6 months post qualified experience within Rating to join an expanding team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Principal activities related to dealing with the completion of forms of return and lodging appeals against the 2010 rating list on behalf of clients.
- Taking accurate measurements of sites and premises.
- Assessing properties for business rates.
- Maintain regular and consistent client communication throughout the life of an appeal and be available to attend client visits to deal with queries
- Attend Valuation Tribunals as and when required
- Identify additional fee revenue opportunities / client referrals at every opportunity
