Our client is a well-known market leader in their field and who due to considerable success since its inception several years ago are now looking for a qualified surveyor to join their professional team. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to focussing on rent reviews, lease renewals, dilapidations and occasional valuations.
The company has doubled turnover in the last year and has forecast similar for the next financial year, due to the success that the business has had within the last year or two they are now looking expanding and looking at growing other areas of the business including the professional side.
The main focus for responsibility will be to take care of retained clients' portfolios. Effectively the successful candidate will be a Portfolio Manager. The work entailed is varied and covers the entire country.
Their second responsibility will be to property manage a building that our client manages in London. This has over 20 tenants all on monthly licences. They are working with the owner to refurbish the property over the next 3 years and deliver tenants on regular leases. It's an exciting project which the candidate will be involved in. Main responsibility will be to manage s/c, rent invoice and collection, carry our license review and actively manage the short term tenancies.
