Interim Head of Estates (Clientside)
12-18 month contract
A major public sector organisation has a requirement in Manchester for an Interim Head of Estates to look after a large and diverse portfolio of property across a wide geographical region.
The role will encompass all aspects of estates strategy and will involve running and managing a sizeable time covering a number of different disciplines.
You will ideally have a track record within a public sector body in a similar role and be comfortable with the demands and the culture of a large public sector body.
You will have experience of operating at a senior level but also be comfortable with the day to day issues thrown up in such a diverse and challenging role and be prepared to offer every day technical solutions as well as high level strategic advice.
Your ability to devise and execute a clear real estate strategy and to gain buy in from all stakeholders is key.
There is potential for this role to become a permanent position although the organisation in question wants to work through the next 12 months with the successful applicant in place before making any commitments.
