West End based property consultancy is recruiting an experienced Management Surveyor (Occupier Management) to head up the department.
Responsibilities to include:
Full property management service for existing Occupier or Investor Clients, to include Asset management, Facilities management and Accounting.
Providing a superb service to existing and new clients
Run this Client Service Team which includes a Facilities Manager and a Client Accountant.
Carry out all Asset Management tasks plus FM tasks on some smaller properties; supervise FM tasks on certain properties
Liaise with the accounts team and be responsible for reporting Client Statements and Service Charges
Organise and be responsible for Health & Safety compliance on this portfolio
Contribute to improving departmental systems and procedures: reporting structures, workflow and client reporting.
Develop this business and bring in new business in order to grow the size and profitability of the Occupier Management section of the Department.
Role Requirements and Experience:
5 years + experience working in a senior property management role
Knowledge of Facilities Management work and instructing/supervising contractors. Knowledge of Property Management Accounting procedures and practice including service charge budgeting and reconciliation.
Knowledge of appropriate Health & Safety requirements
Previous experience managing a team
Good sense of business development managing a client base.
Knowledge of Qube (ECS) accounting system
Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
