Purpose of the role

To learn all facets of the business in readiness to assume a key residential management position in the property career stream, after graduating from the programme.This will be achieved through a number of placements over two years across the business, in areas such as Fund Management, Property Management, Sales and Lettings, Development and Acquisitions. We will support your personal and professional development through this period, including your studies for APC, if applicable.

Please note that the graduate programme will be for 24 months, and there is no guarantee of a permanent role after this time – this will be dependent on both the business need and your performance.

Main areas of responsibility

• Assisting with portfolio acquisitions, including a full review
of opportunities, preparation of business cases supporting
acquisitions, negotiating terms and undertaking property
due diligence, liaising with external advisors and processing
transactions through to completion. Establish professional
relationships with new and existing tenants, advisors etc
• Assisting or leading (dependent upon size) the delivery of
development projects from inception to completion
• Day to day property and facilities management including
void, arrears and maintenance management
• Helping with implementing strategies for sales, lettings,
capital and revenue expenditure and reporting where
necessary
• Working on funds and new projects
• Supporting the sales process and post sales process

Passionate about working in residential property

Experience and qualifications required

• An undergraduate or post-graduate property related
qualification
• 2:1 undergraduate degree
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to commence full-time in September 2013
• ‘A’ level success at grade C or above for three subjects
• A passion to work in residential property
• Driving licence preferred
