Project Manager – Team Leader London
£55,000 plus car
One of the world’s leading construction & support services organisations currently require a project manager to lead their London based consultancy division.
The role:
You will manage complex projects across a range of sectors including Health, Defence, Retail and Education.
You will manage teams of consultants and contractors from inception to completion and beyond to achieve successful outcomes for our clients.
You will be required to manage close client relationships to ensure long term mutually beneficial outcomes.
You will be required to assist the head of department in the management of the internal team resource.
To provide oversight / strategic guidance / audit & review to the portfolio of projects being managed by the project management division.
Experience of business development, project bids and submissions is required as is an ability/desire to continually grow the project management business in London.
To successfully manage and deliver projects.
To manage internal teams and external consultant teams.
To administer contracts.
To assist in the management of the project management division as a whole nationally.
To manage commercial aspects of a commission, to ensure fee trackers are kept up to date; identifying and progressing any variations / opportunities for fee income projection.
To prepare fee proposals in conjunction with the head of project management.
To provide strategic guidance to the project management team and develop best practice documentation to be utilised by the team.
Assist the head of project management in conducting client care reviews and obtaining regular feedback on performance; developing management strategies for any issues that arise.
Conduct lessons learnt reviews on commissions to ensure lessons are captured and transferred to benefit future commissions.
Identify cross—selling opportunities for the consulting business unit as a whole.
You will ideally be a chartered (MRICS/MAPM) project manager with a track record of managing and delivering complex projects for a project management consultancy within the education, health, defence or retail sectors.
You will have experience of design management.
