These are exciting times for public transport services in Greater Manchester.
Major investment is helping to deliver a wealth of improvements to the services offered to the travelling public, from the on-going expansion of the Metrolink tram system to the introduction of Smart ticketing and other initiatives that will help facilitate greater economic prosperity for the region.
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is the body responsible for driving these improvements forward as part of its mission to develop better integrated transport services across the conurbation, helping to connect residents with their employment, education, health and leisure opportunities.
This role is responsible for managing a team to deliver TfGM’s estate management and development services. You will manage and co-ordinate all TFGM property acquisition and property development activities, provide property advice to support delivery of projects, and ensure TfGM get the maximum benefit from our estate portfolio.
Commercially astute and customer focused, you will be a strong leader with experience in estates management. Excellent project management skills are required, as well as highly developed communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
This is a fixed term contract for 2 years
