My client is rapidly becoming one of Cambodia's leading developers. This project management role is to work as part of the senior management team on a landmark golf resort development just outside of Phnom Penh.
This development consists of developing two 18-hole championship golf courses with hotel, retail, luxury residential and recreation facilities
With its premier location and design, the golf resort development is expected to make a remarkable change to the golfing standard and popularity in Cambodia, while serving as a draw to visitors from home and abroad.
Sitting on the outskirts of Phnom Penh, the development includes two contrasting 18-hole golf courses, residential villas, a resort hotel, retail centre, international school and a number of sports and recreation facilities.
Other types of projects executed and in progress include residential and commercial buildings, resorts, and industrial developments.
Our client are looking for a project manager to join their Phnom Penh office, though most of your time will be spent out on site which is some 15kms from downtown. Candidates that they are looking for must have specific golf resort experience either with a consultancy/developer or potentially a contractor. Candidates with experience in SE Asia will be looked on favourably as will those who are chartered and show a consistent employment background.
The scheme is currently at the land moving/sculpting stage with some contractors appointed for the main contracts, so you will need to be able pick up the complexities of the scheme relatively quickly. The course itself has been designed by a recognised world leader in this field and the consultants engineers are a global household name.
This is a really exciting opportunity to join a company that has access to the most prestigious projects in the region. You will be well rewarded and there are great future prospects on offer for the right candidates.
