An exciting, unique and career furthering opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Surveyor to join a small team with a strong family feel. This independently run consultancy has been operating for just over 6 years and has built a fantastic name for itself within the community and further afield. Covering all aspects of building surveying contract administration, project management, party wall and dilapidations to name a few, this opportunity would be a fantastic platform for an experienced Building Surveyor to take their career to the next level and gain invaluable broad experience.

Offering up to £40,000 for the right candidate plus full structured APC support, this opportunity could be perfect for an experienced Building Surveyor who would like to pursue chartership. You will gain experience in a variety of areas within the Building Surveying profession on a mixture of residential and commercial projects.

The successful Building Surveyor will be responsible for:

 Contract specification and administration on a range of minor and major works projects

 Professional services which include: preparation of feasibility, cost appraisal and budget reports, defects diagnosis, building specification and design, condition and building surveys, planned maintenance surveys, insurance claim validation works and party wall surveys

The successful Building Surveyor must:

 Have a minimum 3 years related professional experience

 Have excellent communication skills

 Have a dynamic and personable nature and personal drive and self-motivation

 Have good organisational skills and work to agreed timetables

 Work as part of a team and demonstrate good people management skills

 Be computer literate
