Head of Capital Development

An independent boarding school for 13-18-year-old boys, Harrow School, founded in 1572, is one of the world’s leading independent schools. The School’s operational estate on Harrow on the Hill extends to over 300 acres and 150 buildings.

The School is seeking to appoint a Head of Capital Development to lead and further develop its extensive and innovative estate Master Plan and other major estate development priorities. This position offers the successful candidate a unique and career defining opportunity to help shape the future of this historic, heritage environment.

Applicants should have an extensive and very successful track record of project management and delivery of a range of high quality building projects, preferably in educational environments and spanning both new and listed buildings.

The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate outstanding experience of programme and cost control of complex projects. The successful candidate is likely to have either an RICS or MAPM qualification or both.

An excellent salary and benefits package commensurate with the importance of this role will be available and could also include a flexible working arrangement.
