Clientside Day-to-day Property Manager – candidates from consultancy-side backgrounds will be considered
Privately owned property company in London are looking to recruit a methodical and detail-orientated Commercial Property Manager. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be involved with some interesting and complex mixed AUM including retail, offices, industrial and mixed use in the South East of England.
About the role:
You will be managing the day to day management of operational properties, including collecting rents, managing service charge budgets, handling tenancy agreements/enquiries, inspecting properties, managing dilapidations, organising projects and tendering for building contractors. Essentially, you will be responsible for all of the day to day functioning of the commercial part of the portfolio.
Your will be a strong team player with a meticulous eye for detail. Ideally, you will have some commercial property management experience, in a similar setting or in a consultancy. You will have knowledge of managing service charges, health and safety policies; property regulation/legislative requirements and be able to handle every day issues on the sites. MRICS is desirable however not essential if candidates demonstrate a willingness to learn and a “can-do” attitude. No. of years experience is less important than a true love of day to day property management.
You will join a small but entrepreneurial team who are in major growth mode; as they are winning new mandates with High Net Worth Investors (HNWIs) at an incredible rate, you will be part of expansion plan and be given every opportunity to progress to management quickly as well as be given both on-the-job and off-the-job training.
Flexible working arrangements can be arranged to accommodate your personal circumstances, although you will be required to work in the London office 5 days per week.
