YOUR NEW COMPANY

This is a leading organisation within the region and one of the UK's largest land owners with a very diverse portfolio, which crosses almost the complete range of property spectrum, from high-end commercial office to large-scale industrial, agricultural and recreational estate. Their focus is on maximising value from its portfolio including; mitigation of risk and understanding Natural Capital value.
The Team is well established and has a number of well experienced Chartered Surveyors to learn from, as well as more trainee members of the team to work alongside.

YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Graduate Surveyor, you will be able to take advantage of exposure to one of the widest ranging property portfolios in the region. You will be involved with identifying development opportunities, undertaking disposals and acquisitions, leasing and tenant management, carrying out lease renewals and rent reviews, and general day to day rural estate management. You will work to add value to property and land, investigating title, ownership, change of use, and work in accordance with a long-term strategy, for adding value, maximising income and mitigation of risk from the portfolio. You will also be involved with agricultural matters, such as farm tenancies, recreational and sporting tenancies along with heritage buildings.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • BSc in Real Estate, Rural Estate Management, or a similar RICS accredited degree
  • A desire to develop to MRICS status via the APC route via the commercial or rural pathways.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work to set goals.
