Budgeting, Monitoring & Forecasting
Maintaining monthly cash flow forecasts and budgets/reforecasts, ensuring that senior management are aware of the cash requirements.
Liaising with project teams to set budgets and monitor expenditure for:
Sales & Marketing - branding, advertising, events and integrated art gallery costs.
Place making - including restaurants, golf driving range and jetty operator.
Infrastructure - a significant element of the annual expenditure. A key participant in monthly review meetings.
Marketing Office running costs
Energy business - including the capital expenditure and fixed assets, and the operational revenue and costs.
Accounting for and liaising with place making operators ensuring that they are complying with their financial obligations.
Providing budget / actual variance analyses for the above.
Assisting the Financial Controller in the preparation of and uploading of capital expenditure approvals. This includes all development expenditure.
Actively build and maintain strong relationships with non-finance colleagues.
Maintaining the profit share schedules and reporting with the GLA.
Assisting the Finance Director and the Head of Finance in tax forecasting.
Statutory & Management Reporting
Providing quarterly management analysis on areas of responsibility.
Providing input to the Financial Accountant for the Quarterly P&L and Balance Sheet reporting and annual statutory accounts.
With the Financial Controller maintaining and reconciling the loan stock and interest registers for both internal and external funders.
Assisting the Head of Finance and Finance Director in regular and ad hoc reporting.
Assist the Financial Accountant to manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Authorising purchase orders, reviewing sales invoice requests andbudget re-allocation requests.
Assisting the Head of Finance in the relationships with external funders, including preparing monthly utilisation requests and compliance statements.
Providing finance input (with the Head of Finance) to the Head of Operations for oversight of the managing agents in respect of the overall estate and the completed developments.
Liaising with the offshore trustees for the operation of and monitoring of an office investment.
Liaising with the asset manager in respect of lettings, rent reviews and strategic advice.
Supporting the Financial Accountant in the operation and development of the Access Accounting system.
