Enormously successful EMEA Capital Markets team are growing their Industrial division, and have a new opening for a dedicated Investment Analyst to be based in London, but work closely with local teams. The team strategically advises clients to execute a full range of property solutions across the EMEA region – involving direct property transactions as well as corporate finance, equity placement, debt, structured finance and joint ventures so it will be a very diverse role. The ideal candidate needs to be able to build a cash flow model in excel from scratch, speak one European language as well as fluent English and will have good real estate investment or valuation experience, preferably with some knowledge working in continental markets. They offer fast tracked promotion for the right candidate, an interesting, busy and challenging role and the opportunity to be part of one of the markets most respected and sought after teams.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing cash-flows and other financial analyses; for Industrial RE investment acquisitions or disposals
  • Assisting the Senior team members in investment transactions
  • To engage with other key members of the EMEA Central Team and wider local market teams
  • Preparation of investment materials, presentation documents, pitches & marketing collateral
  • Support key client programmes
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and advice to clients
  • Involvement in high profile instructions and take on more responsibility and day to day management of such

Person Specification/Requirements

  • Highly technically competent (i.e. financial modelling) with the ability to build a cash flow model from scratch
  • Fluent English and a secondary European language
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Europe
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
  • Pro-active and enjoys working independently and as part of a wider team
  • Confident and assertive where required
  • Good IT skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
