Agency Surveyor - Retail and Restaurant

Colliers International is looking for an enthusiastic surveyor to join the UK Retail and Restaurant Agency team in London.
This job requires the individual to operate at the leading edge of Central London’s fast moving and world-class Restaurant and Retail sectors, while advising some of the most prestigious and demanding commercial property owners in the capital. The role includes but is not limited to:
Relationships - Building and maintaining a broad network of contacts at the decision-maker level with restaurateurs and retailers in London and key international cities.
Diligence - Preparation of written valuation advice, marketing advice, HOTs, and property marketing media including emails, brochures, details, press releases and technical advice for potential tenants.
Organisation - Competently keeping track of work in progress and maintaining interest schedules for Landlord clients.
Responsibility – Inspiring trust by handling instructions in a responsible, dedicated and authoritative manner and going the extra mile to achieve the client’s aims.
Team Work - Updating colleagues on new entrants and new requirements including the use of the shared applicant database. Participation in pitches and client relationship building
and meeting new clients.
Awareness - Providing expert local and international advice to Landlords and developers on sector news, trends and providing market insight informing leasing strategy.
Initiative - Identifying new business opportunities and helping to win new business by sharing ideas. Thinking creatively about marketing of instructions and taking action. Use of PR, marketing and social media to drive business leads. Acting for occupiers where appropriate.
Skills and attributes:
- Genuine, proven interest in fashion and lifestyle and/or the food and drink sector in
- London and internationally.
- Ability to get along with a wide range of business owners and fellow professionals
- Ability to convincingly and persuasively communicate an idea.
- A creative and resourceful approach to making new connections, marketing and problem solving.
- Personal organisation skills and ability to present written information in a literate, clear, professional and well organised manner.
- RICS qualified (preferred but not essential for outstanding individuals).
