Rural Surveyor - CLA Midlands Region
An opportunity has arisen for a qualified rural practice surveyor with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience and a broad appreciation of rural issues to work as part of the professional Midlands team.
The successful applicant for this high profile, exciting role will be office based at Woodseaves, Staffordshire, working closely with the Director Midlands, regional team and national policy experts advising members across the Midlands on a range of issues relating to landownership and rural business. These include public access, wayleaves, housing, compulsory purchase (HS2), tenancies, food chain, designated environmental areas, flood and coastal defence, rivers and riparian rights, protected habitats, basic payment, CAP Reform; as well as representing members’ views at stakeholder meetings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as well as a high level of computer literacy. It is essential that you are RICS qualified and CAAV is desirable. A full driving licence and car is required as the position involves considerable travel throughout the Midlands.
