Building Surveyor - Reading

Reading (Berkshire) based practice of Chartered Building Surveyors is expanding with the appointment of a Building Surveyor to complement their team.

Whilst recognised Surveying qualifications are seen as preferable, this is not essential. Relevant Building Surveying experience is seen as a must however. 

The Person

• Relevant Building Surveying experience 
• CAD skills 
• Experienced managing projects from inception to completion working on own autonomy.
• You will be exposed to a variety of core Building Surveying functions in your role including Party Wall, Dilapidations, Contract Administration and Employers Agent, expect some degree of project work in your duties and functions.
• Business development and client facing skills are always seen as preferable, you will manage your client's expectations on a day to day basis.
• Good sense of time management, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• IT skills

This is an interesting opportunity to join a traditional Surveying practice with a interesting history and diverse range of clients, based in the Reading and surrounding areas.

Competitive basic salary up to £40,000 plus (depending on experience) plus car allowance and bonus scheme.
